DIFFERENT GRADES OF MEMBERSHIP
The memberships of this professional body are of different categories. You are expected to make application on the grade that you are qualified.
Student Membership
This class of membership is opened for those currently undergoing undergraduate studies in Finance and Business areas. Those students who are studying courses that are not related to finance and business can also apply. OND holders or its equivalent can also apply.
Application form is #10,000.00.
Graduate Member
Those who are holders of Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent either in Finance or Business management areas can apply for the graduate membership. To be qualified for Graduate Membership, the following are the requirements.
You must have a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent either in Finance or Business management or related areas. Those with Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in non- finance or business area can also apply for graduate membership.
You must have less than one year working experience.
You must undergo the professional training program of the Institute.
Application form is #10,000.00 while Membership fee for Graduate Membership is #40,000.00. The Induction fee is #20,000.00.
Note: NYSC members are qualified to apply for graduate membership. NYSC members are given a discount of 50%.
Associate Membership
The following requirements are needed for Associate membership:
You must have Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent either in Finance/Business areas. You must have one year to less than five years working experience in related areas. You must undergo the professional training program of the Institute.
Application form is #10,000.00 while Membership fee for Associate Membership is #70,000.00. The Induction fee is #20,000.00.
Note: Those with certificates less than Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent but have relevant working experience of 5 years and above can apply for Associate Membership.
Full Membership
The qualifications to apply for Full Membership are:
Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent. Postgraduate degree is an added advantage. Working experience in relevant areas from the range of 5 years but less than 10 years. You must occupy supervisory level or its equivalent in your organization.
You must undergo the professional training program of the Institute.
Application form is #10,000.00 while Membership fee for Full Membership is #120,000.00. The Induction fee is #20,000.00.
Fellow Membership
Qualifications for Fellow Membership are:
Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent. Postgraduate degree is an added advantage. Working experience in relevant areas from 10 years and above.
Application form is #10,000.00 while Membership fee for Fellow Membership is #150,000.00. The Induction fee is #20,000.00.
Doctoral Fellow Membership
Qualifications for Doctoral Fellow Membership are:
Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent. Postgraduate degree is an added advantage. Working experience in relevant areas from 10 years and above.
Must occupy top managerial position in your organization.
Application form is #10,000.00 while Membership fee for Doctoral Fellow Membership is #200,000.00. The Induction fee is #20,000.00.
Honorary Fellow Membership
This kind of membership is given to those who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of any sector of the economy either in Nigeria or elsewhere. It is given for the sake of honour. Those who have built up an organization from the zero state to the hero state can be entitled to this kind of membership. The fee for Honorary Fellow is #200,000.00 and the Induction fee is #20,000.00.
Corporate Membership
This kind of membership is open to corporate entities which are involved in finance and business activities.
Application form is #10,000.00 while Membership fee for Corporate Membership is #150,000.00.
